Die F\u00fcnf \u00c4ltesten taten ihr Bestes, um die Transponderschnecke zu finden, die diese Nachricht in die ganze Welt sendete. Wie sich jedoch herausstellte, konnten sie die Schnecke nicht orten, wodurch die \u00dcbertragung fortgesetzt wurde. Das Erste, was Vegapunk der ganzen Welt verk\u00fcndete, war, dass die Erde im Ozean versinken w\u00fcrde. Da diese Nachricht nur wenige Tage vor seinem Tod aufgezeichnet wurde, machte er auch eine k\u00fchne Vorhersage \u00fcber den Anstieg des Wasserspiegels um einen Meter, der durch die Erdbeben nach der Zerst\u00f6rung von Lulusia verursacht werden w\u00fcrde. Er erw\u00e4hnte, dass dieser Anstieg des Meeresspiegels und die Erdbeben streng genommen keine Naturkatastrophe seien.
