Ein Problem, das sie mit Luffys Reise haben, ist, dass er es irgendwie immer schafft, seinen Feind zu besiegen, was f\u00fcr 90% der K\u00e4mpfe gilt, die er ausgefochten hat. Die Charaktere k\u00e4mpften jedoch dreimal, und Crocodile gewann zweimal und lie\u00df Luffy sterben. Im zweiten Kampf wurde er durch etwas Wasser, das er zuvor zuf\u00e4llig in den Himmel geschossen hatte, vor dem Tod durch Dehydration bewahrt. Nachdem er Gear 2 und Gear 3 im Kampf gegen Rob Lucci mehrfach eingesetzt hatte, war Luffy v\u00f6llig ersch\u00f6pft und seinem Gegner ausgeliefert. Lucci entfesselte daraufhin extrem m\u00e4chtige Angriffe, die Luffy sofort besiegten. Stundenlang zerst\u00f6rte Katakurri Ruffy, und es gab keinen Grund, warum er nicht h\u00e4tte gewinnen sollen.
