It was nominated twice for the Manga Taisho Award, in 2016 and 2019, and won the Kono Manga ga Sugoi list in 2016.
Yen Press has licensed the series in North America. They describe the plot of the manga as follows:
When young adventurer Laios and his company are attacked and mauled by a dragon deep within a dungeon, the group loses all their money and provisions… and a limb! They’re eager to return and save her, but there’s just one problem: if they leave without food or money, they’ll surely starve to death along the way! But Laios has a brilliant idea: “Let’s eat the monsters!” Slimes, basilisks, and even dragons… no one is safe from the appetite of these dungeon-crawling gourmands!
