“Girls Band Cry” has been airing since April 2024 and is scheduled to air for a total of 13 episodes. The series follows the story of Nina Iseri, a 17-year-old girl who seeks her purpose in life and faces several challenges when she moves to Tokyo. Her life changes when she meets Momoka Kawaragi, a guitarist she admires, and together they decide to form a band. As more members join the group, the girls face difficulties in the music industry and personal conflicts, but their passion for music drives them to never give up on their dreams.

Well, now it turns out that the series has reached, for the second consecutive week, the first position in the weekly rankings on the popular Anime Trending platform. While these are just the results of internet users' votes, they're also a perfect example of what's being watched the most this season.

Completing the podium is the third season of “KonoSuba! God's blessing to this wonderful world!“and the third season of “Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken“In fact, even the fifth position is filled with sequels, so it’s really a surprise that an original anime dominates them all.
