My Deer Friend Nokotan's deer waifu breaks the Internet

In some previous articles, we introduced the anime adaptation of “My deer friend Nokotan (Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan)”, a future production of WIT STUDIO to be released in Summer 2024 (July to September). The most interesting thing about this is the chaotic aspect of the series, from a bizarre plot to characters involved in situations that will cause astonishment.
However, what boosted its popularity tremendously was the opening theme song, titled “Shikairo Days” and performed by Megumi Han, Saki Fujita, Rui Tanabe, and Fuuka Izumi, the main voice cast. The song's chorus says exactly what the franchise is called “Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan”, accompanied by a catchy beat that you certainly won't get out of your head.
In fact, the production knew this and was quick to share a special video with this snippet repeated for ONE HOUR. The video features a hypnotic segment that shows protagonist Koshi Torako dancing with a 3DCG animated deer that is looking at her.

This video went viral on social media, and some even claimed that it “broke the Internet”, precisely because of the number of times it was shared. It seems that musical themes, especially those with catchy lyrics and rhythms, are proving to be an excellent tool for making an anime project go viral. Or have they already forgotten about the second season of “Mashle: Magic and Muscles” with its “BLING-BANG-BANG-BANG-BANG-BORN“?
Some editions were even created to show this same scene, but with characters from other franchises:
