Love to Live! Announces the End of Aqours

In a recent statement, the franchise “Love Live! Sunshine!!” surprised and saddened their followers by announcing that the popular group Waters will do yours “last presentation” as part of the celebrations of ninth anniversary of the franchise.

Details about the date and location of the event have not yet been released.but is expected to occur between January and June 2025. Registration for the ticket draw will begin on December 18, 2024which adds more expectations to the event.

Love to live! Sunshine!!”It is an anime series that is part of the extensive “Love Live!” franchise, created by Sunrise studio in collaboration with Lantis and ASCII Media Works. The series tells the story of a group of nine girls from Uranohoshi High School in the coastal town of Numazu, in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. Inspired by the success of their predecessors in “Love Live!”, these girls form their own idol group, known as Aqours, in hopes of saving their school from closure.

Waters is composed of Chika Takami, Riko Sakurauchi, You Watanabe, Dia Kurosawa, Kanan Matsuura, Yoshiko Tsushima, Hanamaru Kunikida, Mari Ohara and Ruby Kurosawa. Since their debut in 2015, Aqours has achieved significant success, with several chart-topping albums, large-scale concerts, and a fervent fan base both in Japan and internationally. Aqours' popularity has also led to the creation of films, mobile games, and a number of related merchandise.
