Batman Ninja Synopsis
At Arkham Asylum, Batman confronts Gorilla Grodd as he attempts to destroy Grodd's new invention: the Quake Engine. Amidst the chaos, the engine activates and the entire asylum disappears into thin air, and Batman with it. When the dust settles, Batman finds himself in the middle of an unfamiliar road. He soon realizes that he is no longer in Gotham City, but in feudal Japan. His shock quickly fades when a pair of samurai descend upon him to end his life. Later, Batman's investigation leads him to discover that the person responsible for the death order is none other than his archenemy, the Joker.
After an encounter with Catwoman, he discovers that the asylum's criminals teleported there two years earlier, each ruling a different part of Japan, with the Joker as the dominant leader. To return home, Batman must reactivate the Quake Engine, located in the ruins of the asylum, now known as Arkham Castle. However, there is a problem: aside from the gadget belt, the arsenal that was once at his disposal is all but gone. Ninja Batman follows the Dark Knight through a strange new environment, facing familiar enemies in an attempt to return Gotham in one piece.
