According to the latest update from License Global, Yuto Suzuki Sakamoto Days has been removed from Netflix's upcoming releases list.

This comes after the magazine's May issue had previously claimed that the highly-anticipated series was officially set for a 2024 release on Netflix, with the streaming giant reportedly acquiring the rights.
The removal of Sakamoto Days from License Global's listings makes it unclear whether the anime is still slated for a 2024 release or has been delayed.
However, it should be noted that an official announcement for Sakamoto Days the anime is yet to be made.
Sakamoto Days is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yuto Suzuki. It has been serialized in Shueisha's shonen manga magazine Weekly Shonen Jump since November 2020, with its chapters collected in 16 tankobon volumes as of April 2024.
It is published simultaneously in English by Viz Media and the online platform Manga Plus.
MAL describes the manga's plot as:
Tarou Sakamoto was considered the greatest assassin of all time. Feared by many, he was at the top of the underworld until he met and fell in love with a woman. As a result, Sakamoto abandoned his life of crime and now works as a convenience store clerk.
Leaving his dark past behind him proves more difficult than Sakamoto initially imagined. Many of his former rivals and business associates do not believe he has truly abandoned the business and show up in hopes of eliminating him. Barred from killing, Sakamoto must find creative ways to subdue his enemies and prevent them from causing harm to his family, his shop, and the small town where he lives.
