In a recent interview with Business Wire, the companies Rainmaker Productions and Sola Entertainment Boarding commented on the development of the video game “NINJA KAMUI – SHINOBI ORIGINS“, which is currently available for the Nintendo Switch console. But it wasn’t this release that caught everyone’s attention, but rather a comment from Joseph Chou, CEO of production company Sola Entertainment:

«We hope this game continues to entertain fans around the world as we work on the second season of the anime. BE THE NINJA!», commented the businessman, confirming, perhaps unintentionally, that the original anime “KAMUI NINJA"There will be a second season. While there hasn't been an official announcement yet, it was definitely a surprise to fans considering the decline the series suffered in its final episodes.

On the other hand, the original thirteen-episode anime premiered in February-2024 and was produced by the studios E&H Productionunder the direction of the renowned Seong-Hu Park. Although the beginning was promising, the quality of the series quickly declined due to a combination of poor CGI and poor animation in general, something that could have stemmed from the studio's initial conditions and the production company's low funding.

Synopsis of Ninja Kamui

Seemingly an ordinary man, Joe Logan lives a quiet life in the countryside with his wife and son. However, the Logan family has assumed false identities to escape Joe's past as a fearsome ninja assassin. Despite a series of murders of his former comrades, Joe is confident that his new life is safe, but his peaceful happiness is soon cut short when his family is massacred by members of his former clan.
