Last week an image was released announcing a crossover of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and naruto, however, we still think of it as a rumor. IDW Publishing has published an official synopsis that mentions the following:

“When teenage journalist April O'Neil has a clandestine meeting with Tsunade, the leader of the Hidden Leaf Village, she attracts the attention of Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura and Kakashi. However, they aren’t the only ones wondering what the two women were talking about. The Grimfoot Clan is interested in April’s visit, as they believe she may have valuable information about the mutation research being conducted by scientist Baxter Stockman. With April caught between the forces of the Hidden Leaf Village and the Foot Clan, it won’t be long before the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles come to her aid!
