Kurama is one of the most powerful tailed beasts in the world. Naruto have ever lived. When it comes to the nine tailed beasts, Kurama is certainly the strongest of them all. Over the years, fans have seen many users of Kurama's powers, and each of them is unique in their own way.

That being said, not all of them hold similar levels of power. At the same time, different users make use of different powers of Kurama. While some are Jinchuriki, others only have access to Kurama's chakra, which makes them unique in terms of strength.

6 Kinkaku and Ginkaku

The Gold and Silver Brothers of Kumogakure

Kinkaku and Ginkaku are the Gold and Silver brothers from the Hidden Cloud. These are two powerful ninjas who existed in the Naruto series a long time ago. They were believed to have been consumed by the Nine Tails. However, they began eating the beast from the inside, eventually forcing it to vomit them out.

Surviving this ordeal gave them the powers of the Nine-Tails to some extent. They gained massive chakra reserves and, more importantly, the ability to manifest the tailed beast cloak as well as advanced degrees of tailed beast powers. With the tools of the Sage of the Six Paths, they were nearly unstoppable. When they were revived in the Fourth Great Ninja War, they showed just how much of a threat they could be. In fact, even Ay wanted to fight alone to stop the Gold and Silver brothers.

5 Uzumaki myth

Hashirama's wife sealed Kurama inside her

Mito Uzumaki was the first Kurama jinchuriki that fans met in the Naruto Series. She became the beast's jinchuriki after Hashirama ripped it from Madara Uchiha during their battle at the Valley of the End. Mito managed to seal the beast within herself and lived with it until the end of her days. It is unknown if she could actually control Kurama's chakra in any way.

It is also unknown if she ever made use of this chakra. However, logic dictates that since Mito had this beast inside her, she likely gained some boosts from it. Fans are not aware of the details of how much of a boost she received from this Tailed Beast inside her.

4 Himawari Uzumaki

Kurama reformed within Himawari Uzumaki

Himawari Uzumaki was recently revealed to be a user of the tailed beast chakra. It is unknown which tailed beast is inside her at this time. It is either Kurama, which she likely gained from Naruto, or a different version of the Nine-Tails.

It's also unknown whether she has a part of Kurama inside her or the whole thing. Fans will likely find out more about that later. Right now, what's clear is that Himawari has tremendous hidden power inside her that she hasn't brought out yet. Boruto will soon explore her powers further, and it'll certainly be a very interesting addition to the story.

3 Kushina Uzumaki

Kurama was transferred from Mito Uzumaki to Kushina

Kushina Uzumaki became Kurama's jinchuriki after Mito. She had this tailed beast sealed inside her for many years. Kushina was also able to harness the tailed beast's chakra to some extent. Fans know that she received a huge boost in terms of chakra and, more importantly, she could, under certain conditions, make use of her cloak.

Kushina could also restrain the tailed beasts using her adamantine chains to a significant degree. Overall, when it comes to Kurama's many jinchuriki, Kushina certainly ranks among the best.

2 Minato Namikaze

Minato had the Yin half of Kurama inside

Minato became Kurama's jinchūriki moments before his death. Using the Reaper Death Seal, he sealed half of the beast within himself, while the other half was sealed within his son, Naruto. When Minato was reincarnated in the Ninja War, he was able to use Nine-Tails Chakra Mode from the beginning.

Minato managed to completely tame the Tailed Beast, becoming a perfect jinchuriki. His use of the Tailed Beast's chakra was absolutely immense, and it only showed how great a genius he truly was. Eventually, Minato's half of the Nine-Tails was transferred to his son, Naruto Uzumaki.

1 Naruto Uzumaki

Naruto formed a perfect bond with Kurama

By far the biggest Kurama user in Narutois Naruto Uzumaki himself. Naruto was transformed into a Jinchuriki at the moment of his birth. Many years later, he managed to become stronger and eventually tame the powers of this Tailed Beast.

Together, they fought many battles and defeated many enemies, including the gods of the Otsutsuki. Unfortunately, Naruto ended up losing Kurama when the beast died when he fought Isshiki using Baryon Mode.
