Although there are divided opinions about the second part of the manga “Saw man“One thing that is certain is that no one knows what the intentions of the Tatsuki Fujimoto with this story. While Chapter 166 showed us an internal dilemma of the protagonist Denji, that he is a “slave to his physical demands”, Chapter 167 took us to a much more unexpected scene.

In the previous chapter, Denji was absolutely certain that his depression stemmed from the fact that he hadn't "unloaded," that is, hadn't masturbated recently. After that, Katana Man suggested that they go to a brothel that belonged to him, but upon arriving, they found that it was completely destroyed. Denji collapsed in his body and became angry at himself for not being able to organize his priorities. He admits that the main reason he decided to become Chainsaw Man again was his dream of having a harem of women.

Blaming his libido for all his problems, Denji pounds his fist on the ground in frustration. And seeing an opportunity, Yoru takes control of Asa's body and offers to cut off Denji's penis if it will help him solve his problems.

That was the conclusion of Chapter 166, and fans were hoping to see the resolution in Chapter 167. Would Denji really lose his penis (again)? Well, this resulted in something completely unexpected. Yoru finds a piece of trash on the ground and turns it into a knife, hiding from Denji that she used her powers before approaching him. He is still surprised by her offer to cut off his penis, but she asks him again if he wants to get rid of his sexual desire or not. After ordering her to take off her pants, Denji panics and reneges on the deal, snatching the knife from Yoru's hand. She responds by sticking her hand down his pants, intending to crush his testicles.

However, the act of doing so awakens a memory in Yoru's subconscious: the kiss she gave him in her old apartment (Chapter 119). She gives a confused Denji another kiss, and the two begin to kiss, while Yoru still has his hand down his pants. Time passes quickly, and Denji manages to reach orgasm and ejaculate, just as Asa manages to regain control of his body.

The most curious thing is that the final scene of Chapter 167 is a direct reference to the infamous scene from the film “The End of Evangelion”, in which Shinji Ikari masturbates while seeing Asuka Langley's naked body while she is in a coma in the hospital. When he's done, Shinji looks at his "mounted" hand and laments the fact that he's a horrible person.
