Yes, Channing Tatum has spoken to Marvel Studios about reviving the film Gambit
After years of waiting and countless problems, Channing Tatum he was finally able to bring the legendary to life X-Men, Gambitin Deadpool and Wolverinebut it couldn't end here, as his solo film could still happen.
We know this thanks to an interview with Varietywhere the actor commented that he hopes that, if the film becomes a tremendous success, it will become the most profitable film of the X-Mencould give the green light to your project.

Obviously none of this confirms that it will be a reality in the future, but fans have accepted and loved Tatum as the X-Menmainly for its action scenes, tremendous characterization and the occasional meme for its way of speaking.
