The leaked chapter reveals the return of Megumi Fushiguro, who was absent due to Sukuna's possession, allowing fans to see the main trio reunited again with Nobara and Yuji Itadori. This event, which in other contexts could have been a cause for celebration, was met with a wave of criticism due to the way in which the final battle against Sukuna was conducted.

The apparent final death of Sukuna, who has been one of the series' most formidable villains, also sparked controversy.
