Crunchyroll has announced that it will begin streaming the English dub of Dededede Dededede Destruction of the Dead Demon anime starting May 24, 2024, on the platform.

The English dubbing cast and crew were also revealed.

Crunchyroll had already announced that it would stream Inio Asano's film Dededede Dededede Destruction of the Dead Demon2-part anime film in episodic format on the platform weekly starting May 24, 2024, at 8:30 am IST (May 23 at 8 pm PT).

Apart from India, it will be broadcast in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, Middle East, CIS, Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia.

The anime series version will consist of 18 episodes and will contain footage not featured in the films.

Part 1 of DeDeDeDeDeDestruction of the Dead Demon Dead anime film released in Japan on March 22, 2024. Part 2 will be released on May 24, 2024.

Both films are directed by Tomoyuki Kurokawa, with Reiko Yoshida providing the scripts. Nobutake Ito serves as character designer and chief animation director, and Mika Nishimura serves as art director. Taro Umebayashi is composing the music.

Production +h. is producing the anime films. This is the first anime adaptation of Inio Asano's works.

Dededede Dededede Destruction of the Dead Demon is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Inio Asano. It was serialized in Shogakukan's seinen manga magazine Big Comic Spirits from April 2014 to February 2022, with its chapters collected in 12 tankōbon volumes. In North America, Viz Media has licensed the manga for an English release.

In March 2022, Dededede Dededede Destruction of the Dead Demon has had over 3 million copies in circulation. In 2021, the manga won the 66th Shogakukan Manga Award in the general category, as well as the 25th Japan Media Arts Festival Excellence Award in 2022.
