CITY Synopsis

From the creator of Nichijou, this surreal series revolves around a penniless college student, Midori Nagumo, who lives in an ordinary town full of unusual people. And as this reckless girl runs, she sets the town in motion.

Midori finds herself in a tough spot. She’s in debt and her landlord is trying to evict her for failing to pay the rent. Her best friend refuses to lend her money ever since she caught on to her tricks. Maybe a little intimidation will help. Or a little theft? Neither is sustainable. Maybe getting a job would solve things… But working means less time for fun adventures in the big city…
