Synopsis of Dead Dead Demons Dededede Destruction
When you look up at the sky, what do you see? Blue skies? Freedom? A hopeful future? The residents of Tokyo see none of these things. Instead, an ominous alien mothership looms above them, swallowing up the city’s landscape. Three years ago, they arrived. The arrival of the “invaders” sparked the greatest war humanity has ever faced, a war that threatened to end the world. The Japanese government rushed to fight the invaders. Weapons were mass-produced, sparking controversy and peace movements.
That day, everything changed. And yet, nothing changed. Koyama Kadode and Nakagawa Ouran live their last days as usual: going to school, playing with their friends, and doing what any carefree schoolgirl would do. As they grow up, they learn what it truly means to be an adult, in a world where adults seem to be demons who only deceive and destroy. They learn that the real threat to humanity is not the Invaders, but humanity itself.
