For the past 13 years, the Nefarious Monster Army has appeared beneath their floating fortress every Sunday to advance their goal of conquering Earth. Fortunately, the Dragon Guardians are here to save the day! Having defeated most of the monsters during the initial invasion, the heroes now routinely appear to eliminate any remaining resistance. However, unbeknownst to the public, each fight after the first has been a deliberate spectacle organized by both sides: the Dragon Guardians reap the fame and prestige of fighting imaginary enemies, while the weaker monsters, collectively called the Dusters, are allowed to survive. Live another day.

Sentouin D, a Duster tired of living a life of shame, leaves the fortress in an attempt to change his fate. With the unexpected help of the mysterious Ranger Yumeko Suzukiri, he discovers that the key to defeating the Dragon Guardians lies in their Divine Artifacts: ultimate weapons crucial to the Rangers’ unique powers and transformation. Teaming up with Suzukiri to infiltrate Red Guardian Sousei Akabane’s garrison, Sentouin D must defy all odds to save his species from the cruel hands of humans.
