Edgerunners celebrated its 2nd anniversary

As some of you may know, this September 13th marks two years since the original anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners premiered on the platform Netflix. Its captivating premise, coupled with the incredible work that the animation studio Trigger did with this anime, managed to make it one of the most remarkable animes of the year 2022, gaining recognition that, to this day, is still present in people.

It is for this reason that the official X-story of the anime series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners prepared a special detail to celebrate its second anniversary and presented an incredible visual image created by Yoh Yoshinarithe series' character designer and chief animator. Along with the visual, the anime's production committee thanked all the fans for their support, stating that without their support "They would never have made it to the Moon."

«Cyberpunk: Edgerunners»is an anime series based on the video game«Cyberpunk 2077«. It is a spin-off that takes place one year before the events of the game. The series consists of 10 episodes in OVA format that premiered on the platform Netflix on September 13, 2022.

The series was produced by the animation studio «Studio trigger» and the developer «RED CD Project«, while the direction was in the hands of Hiroyuki Imaishi, Masahiko Ootsuka and Hiromi Wakabayashi.
