Media Blasters has a lot going on in terms of Kamen Rider. But in terms of something a little different, it's also offering the live-action ecchi gag movie HK/Hentai Scenes. The film is 105 minutes long and will be available on Blu-ray on September 10. People can watch it with a new English dub or in Japanese with subtitles.
The film was adapted from the gag manga The Abnormal Superhero Hentai Kamen by Keishuu Andou, which was not licensed in America. The manga consisted of six issues and was published in the pages of Weekly Shonen Jump between 1992 and 1993.
HK/Hentai Scenes initially came out in 2013, where it did much better than expected at the Japanese box office. That same year, it was shown at the New York Asian Film Festival, where it took home the Audience Award. This was followed by another film, HK/Hentai Kamen: The Abnormal Crisisin 2016.
Here's a trailer for it on YouTube, as released by Japan Society NYC. You'll need to watch it on YouTube and prove your age.
Media Blasters gave this description for HK/Hentai Kamen:
HK/Hentai Scenes Plot
Kyosuke (Ryohei Suzuki) has inherited his late detective father's strong sense of justice, and though he tries his best to be macho, he's mostly used as a punching bag by his school's martial arts club. One day, Kyosuke develops an instant crush on a new transfer student, Aiko, and strangely discovers her strange fetish for wearing women's panties... over her face! This seemingly perverse act inadvertently transforms him into his perverted superhero alter ego "Pervert Mask." By hiding his face under frilly lingerie, Kyosuke suddenly gains potent superpowers that come in handy when he must protect his beloved Aiko and her classmates from the advances of a lewd teacher, other equally absurd superheroes, and a sinister gang! When an evil gang boss plans to demolish the school in search of hidden treasure and takes Aiko as his prize, Kyosuke's sometimes unreliable powers are put to the ultimate test!
