Synopsis of Girls Band Cry
Everyone wants to find their true purpose in life. And so does Nina Iseri, a 17-year-old girl who wants to get into a good university, but the world seems to be always against her. On her first day in Tokyo, she gets lost, ignored and locked out of her new apartment. But an unexpected opportunity arises when Nina meets Momoka Kawaragi, one of her favorite guitarists.
After Nina joins Momoka at a street performance, Momoka decides that they should form a group together. Although Nina is hesitant at first, their determination grows as they gain more bandmates: handsome drummer Subaru Awa, aloof keyboardist Tomo Ebizuka, and intelligent bassist Rupa. The five girls face challenges both in the music industry and within themselves, but their shared passion for music never allows them to give up on their dreams.
