Guilty Gear announces first anime adaptation

Arc System Works, the studio behind the fighting game series Guilty Gearannounced that it will have its first anime. The official name of the anime is Guilty Gear Strive: Dual Rulersand, as this suggests, it will be based on the last episode of the series.
The company also revealed that the work will be carried out by SANZIGEN, a long-standing Japanese animation studio that collaborates on creations from other companies in addition to its own.

Arc System Works has also shared the list of creative professionals responsible for this anime adaptation. Shigeru Morikawa, also known as Yuu Kou, is the director in charge. He previously worked on the film Gekijouban Argonavis: Ryuusei no Obligato and TV anime.

Morikawa is known for his work in D4DJ First Mix, D4DJ All Mix and D_Cide I will bring you the animation. Norimitsu Kaihou, in turn, is in charge of the scripts for Guilty Gear Strive: Dual Rulers. Kaihou previously worked on the anime Akudama Drive, Astra Lost in Space and School-Live!
Seiji Mizushima is also involved as an associate producer. Details about the production team for this new anime have not yet been revealed.
