On June 27th, LIGHTING revealed its new title, “VR-Kanojo“, a girlfriend simulator that will be released in Q4 2024 on Steam. If the name sounds strangely similar to “VR Kanojo” 2018 ILLUSIONIt's because the new title is directed by the same producer, but under a newly founded company.

“VR-Kanojo“ It is not a sequel to the original, but a new and improved version.. In this edition, his girlfriend, Sakura Yuhivisits your bedroom for the first time, which sets the stage for all sorts of couples' interactions and activities, like watching movies and taking a bath together. The game will make use of the VR controllers' haptic technology to make Sakura's touch more realistic.

ILLUSIONthe developer behind the “VR Kanojo”original from 2018, announced that it would be closing its operations in July of last year. However, after receiving several inquiries from fans and developers about a new game “VR Kanojo” (the game has a more positive rating with 1,741 reviews), the title's producer decided to start working on a new girlfriend simulator under the new company ILLUMINATION.

THE crowdfunding campaign for “VR-Kanojo“ is scheduled for this summer. The campaign will reward backers with special in-game costumes, voice messages, merchandise, artwork, and more. More information is expected to be announced at a later date via the official X of LIGHTING.

“VR-Kanojo“ is scheduled to be released in Q4 2024 for PC (Steam). VR bride simulator fans and those who enjoyed the original 2018 title have a lot to look forward to in this new and improved version.
