Japanese People Are Disappointed With Oshi no Ko

As we previously reported, the latest chapter of “Oshi no Ko” became a trend by presenting an internal dilemma of the protagonist Aqua Hoshino. In this new edition, Aqua is questioned by Goro Amemiya, her past life, about whether she should continue with her plans for revenge and carry out her father's assassination.

In this new issue, Aqua questions whether it's worth continuing with the plan and practically ruining her life forever, or simply revealing the truth about her murderous father and continuing to live her life with the girl she loves. In this same chapter it is finally revealed that the girl Aqua loves is Kana Arima, the brilliant actress. This marked the end of all sea wars by naming an outright winner (at least for now), but also drew criticism from the fan conglomerate in Japan.

  • «This manga is already over for me».
  • «It's been long and eventually unpleasant, but at least this story is about to end.».
  • «With these scenes, everything that happened until now lost its meaning.».
  • «Isn't this a death flag for Kana Arima?».
  • «Even if Goro disappears, it doesn't take away the fact that Aqua's mother, her current life, was murdered and she knows who the culprit is. It doesn't make sense that when Goro disappears, the desire for revenge also disappears.».
  • «Aqua will probably die. In the end, Kana Arima will end up with Akane Kurokawa».
  • «It would be cool if Aqua died and met Ai in the other world».
  • «And since when were Aqua and Goro two different personalities? They pulled that development out of their ass, I'm sure.».
  • «Honestly, I can't empathize with Aqua because all the time she talked about revenge and now I found out she has feelings.».
  • «I thought Kana's declaration would be the highlight of this work, but the story really started to decline many times».
  • «This is where things finally get interesting. I've been wondering ever since they started filming the movies if the manga had lost its original direction.».
  • «Why is the author so beloved in the industry? Didn't he also give a shitty ending to Kaguya-sama?».
  • «And suddenly Aqua now has a split personality? What the hell is going on with Oshi no Ko?».
  • «It's the same path as Kaguya-sama, unfortunately we're heading towards a shitty final arc».
  • «I feel sad when I think that Ai Hoshino's original baby, the one who was originally going to be born, is now in limbo.».
  • «If Goro disappears, Sarina should disappear too. It's normal, don't you think?».
  • «We're going to get to an ending where all the girls win, and that's it.».
  • «We finally have all the backstories for all the characters except the father. I wish the work would be finished soon».
  • «Kana-chan also woke up, forgot her plans for revenge and the story is now a romantic comedy».
