Kagurabachi Becomes Favorite Rookie Manga at Anime Expo 2024

Manga Plus, Shueisha's popular manga reading app, held a poll at Anime Expo 2024 for fans to choose their favorite manga serialized on the app.
According to the final results, Kagurabachi The manga ranked first in the poll, becoming the favorite newcomer manga at Anime Expo 2024.
The manga received 590 votes from fans, boasting a healthy lead over the likes of Nue Exorcist, Dragon Ruriand even Sakamoto Daysamong other popular serialized works on the platform.
Fans who participated in the vote were awarded a free gift from Manga Plus. Additionally, those who downloaded the app and posted with certain hashtags on social media platforms also had a chance to win a free badge at Anime Expo 2024.
By Takeru Hokazono Kagurabachi has been going through a good phase lately, with the manga receiving immense support in both print and digital formats.
The third volume of the manga, which will hit shelves on July 4, 2024, is in high demand in Japan, as were the previous two volumes. Naruto author Masashi Kishimoto recommended Kagurabachi manga in the third volume.
Viz will release the manga volumes in English, with the first volume scheduled to come out in Fall 2024.
Kagurabachi has been serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine since September 2023. The first tankobon volume was released on February 2, 2024.
Viz Media and Shueisha's Manga Plus platform are publishing the series in English.
It also attracted significant international attention. The English version of Chapter 1 reached the top spot in global views on SHUEISHA's MANGA Plus just one week after its premiere.
