Kimi Ni Todoke Season 3 Reveals Release Date, New Trailer, and Opening Theme Song

The official website of Kimi Ni Todoke announced on July 9, 2024 that the third season of the anime will be released exclusively on Netflix starting August 1, 2024.
The site also revealed the second trailer for Kimi Ni Todoke Season 3 with preview of the new opening theme song “Et cetera”, performed by imase.

Cast members include:
- Miyuki Sawashiro as Ayane Yano
- Yūko Sanpei as Chizuru Yoshida
- Yuichi Nakamura as Ryu Sanada
- Mamoru Miyano as Kento Miura
- Yuki Ono as Kazuichi Arai (Pin)
- Aya Hirano as Ume Kurumizawa
Mamiko Noto, who voices Sawako Kuronuma, and Daisuke Namikawa, the voice behind Shota Kazehaya, have reprised their lead roles in the third season of Kimi ni Todoke. The animation will once again be handled by Production I.G.
Kenichi Matsuzawa will direct, with Tomoko Konparu writing the scripts alongside Michiko Yokote. The music will once again be composed by SENS Project, known for their work on series such as xxxHOLiC and My Love Story!!.
Kimi ni Todoke: From Me to You is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Karuho Shiina. It was published by Shueisha in Bessatsu Margaret from 2005 to 2017 and collected in 30 tankobon volumes. It won the Best Shōjo Manga award at the 32nd Annual Kodansha Manga Awards in 2008. The series was also nominated for the first Manga Taisho Award in 2008.
An anime adaptation of Kimi no Todokeproduced by Production I.G., it aired in October 2009. The second season of the anime began airing in Japan on January 4, 2011.
A live-action film adaptation was released in 2010, starring Mikako Tabe and Haruma Miura.
