The official X account of Lycoris Retreat announced on July 23, 2024 that the anime will have six short films that will focus on the daily lives of Chisato Nishikigi, Takina Inoue, and other characters from the series set at Café LycoReco.

Under the supervision of Shingo Adachi, each film will have different creators handling the direction and storyboard.

Imigimuru, who wrote the script for the original anime, will also write the script for one of the films.

Further details about the short films, such as release dates and the team involved, have not yet been revealed.

Lycoris Retreat The anime was produced by A-1 Pictures and aired from July 2 to September 24, 2022. Crunchyroll simulcast the anime and also streamed its English dub.

A manga adaptation by Yasunori Bizen began serialization in Media Factory's Monthly Comic Flapper manga magazine on September 5, 2022, and a spin-off light novel, titled Lycoris Recoil: Ordinary Days by Asaura was published under ASCII Media Works' Dengeki Bunko on September 9, 2022.
