In a recent post on the social network Twitter/Xwhich presents us with this new promotional look for the launch of Summer pocketsnew animation project for the visual novel series Key. This is scheduled for the following year 2025 and will have 2 consecutive courses in the respective season, not yet specified. In this visual we see part of this rural island, as the team likes it, which shows us the 4 heroines of the original soap opera.
Being an adaptation of a visual novel composed of scripts, in addition to having an extension Summer Pockets: Blue Reflectionthe series will be adapted with a neutral, character-focused look, not leaning towards one in particular or following the most “canonical” path according to the original database. Our story in Summer pockets It takes us to the rural island of Toshirojima, a quiet and calm place by the sea that offers a burst of air that is full of life despite the heat of the coast. Our protagonist, Haikiri Takaharawho was not born on the island, moves there because of the misfortune that befell his life. The death of his grandfather took him like waves to the rocks on the beach, and he now has to take care of his deceased relative's assets. On this journey to get to know the surroundings of this peaceful place, he meets four girls, the heroines of this story that has many stories to tell and develop through our footsteps.
The girls around us are Shiroha Narusewho forgot the summer holidays; To Sorakadowho eagerly pursues the island's most hidden legends; Kamome Kushimaan upper class girl who for some reason is looking for a pirate ship; and Tsumugi Wendersa young girl who tries to undertake one of the most difficult journeys of our lives, to find herself. Four girls who will bring very profound moments, who will travel to every corner of the island, giving us a detailed look at what is inside it and the people who live there.
As we usually see Keywe expect an impressive work. The new generation can bring as many tragic moments as their predecessors. In this work Jun Maeda He brought his artistic gift, so an interesting series of at least 24 chapters awaits us.
