One of the works that since its beginning, last year, when the first season premiered, has caused several controversies was “Megami at Café Terrace» (The Coffee Terrace and its Goddesses). A story that was heavily criticized for the similarity of its characters to “The Quintessential Quintuplets”, as well as for the use of a narrative device in the final episode that ended up making this comparison more obvious and triggering anger among fans of the “Quintessential Quintuplets”.
Well, it seems that the bad image of this work among fans has a new chapter, since this time «Megami at Café Terrace» is once again the center of a strong controversy on social media due to censorship that the last 2 episodes of the series suffered. A situation in which fans ended up burying the hopes they had of seeing any improvement in this series.
“Megami no Cafe Terrace” disappoints fans once again with the censorship of its last episode!
Yesterday in Japan, episode number 6 of the second season of «Megami at Café Terrace» (The Coffee Terrace and Its Goddesses) and with that we were able to see the continuation of the trip to the Kusakabe Hayato hot springs and the «helpless» from the «Family Café».
A chapter that left fans very excited, as we would finally see several animated panels full of «fan service» of the female protagonists, unfortunately the hype for these scenes quickly disappeared, as what seemed to be a redemption of the anime for fans ended up being yet another disappointment. This is due to the censorship which was used in chapters 5 and 6.
As we can see in the images comparisons to episode 5, the sequence where the girls relax in the outhouse and show off their attributeswas completely attenuated with the classic resource of steam bathroom That wasn't all, but episode number 6 of «Megami at Café Terrace», also suffered the same fate at the hands of «censorship-chan».
In this chapter the scene that was shown to us in the manga was Hayato, meeting My in the mixed bathroom, upon seeing him, he blushed as he admired her body «waifu». Evidently, the anime opted for the same steam resource to hide Ami's attributes, thus triggering, once again, the discomfort of all fans in «x» before Twitter.
