Following a media blunder in Japan, a new promotional video for the second season of “Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation“. The video announces that The “Labyrinth Arc” will begin with the episode on May 26Since May 19th there will be no new episode of the series.

This second season was divided into two parts, the first being broadcast during the summer-2023 season (July-September) and the second currently broadcast since April 8, with a total of twelve episodes confirmed. In turn, Rifujin na Magonote began publishing the light novels with illustrations by Sirotaka in January 2014 through Kadokawa's MF Books imprint, and ended in November 2022. The manga adaptation by Yuka Fujikawa has been published since May 2014.

• Hiroki Hirano (assistant director of the first season) is in charge of directing this second season in Studio Linkagereplacing Manabu Okamoto.
• Toshiya Oono (86: Eighty-Six, Yakusoku no Neverland, Houseki no Kuni) is responsible for writing and supervising the scripts, also replacing Manabu Okamoto.
• Sanae Shimada (Sekai Seifuku: Bouryaku no Zvezda) is responsible for character design and animation direction, replacing Kazutaka Sugiyama already Yoshiko Saitou.
• Yoshiaki Fujisawa (Houseki no Kuni, Isekai Trickster Magician, Love Live! School Idol Project) is responsible for composing the soundtrack.

Synopsis of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation

As his relationship with Eris Boreas Greyrat reaches new heights, Rudeus Greyrat is ecstatic. Unfortunately, his joy is short-lived, as Eris suddenly abandons him to embark on her own journey. Believing that Eris has lost all interest in him, a heartbroken and depressed Rudeus sets off for the Northern Territories. With his sole goal of locating his mother across the vast continent, Rudeus questions whether it is worth persisting in his daily life, falling into a robotic routine while endlessly ruminating on his lost love.

However, the dangers of the North soon prove that one cannot survive with a dull mind. While on a quest with the Counter Arrow group, whom he has recently become acquainted with, Rudeus encounters death, an experience that pulls him out of despair. With his new teammates, Rudeus rediscovers the joy of everyday adventure and continues his original goal of living his second chance at life to the fullest.
