My Hero Academia: You're Next Movie reveals new trailer

The official website for the fourth anime film of My Hero Academyentitled My Hero Academia THE MOVIE: You're Nextrevealed a new trailer on July 23, 2024.
Titled WHO'S NEXT, the trailer begins with All Might's words: “Now it's your turn!”, and features a preview of Vaundy’s Homunculus theme song.
My Hero Academia THE MOVIE: You're Next is scheduled to hit Japanese theaters on August 2, 2024.
Tensai Okamura will be the director of the anime film.

The film will be based on an original story by author Kohei Horikoshi, who will also handle the character designs and be in charge of overall supervision of the film. The author said that the events of the film will align with the timeline of the My Hero Academia anime.
The film takes place in the same timeline as the seventh season of the anime.
My Hero Academia is a manga series written and illustrated by Kōhei Horikoshi. It was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump since July 2014, with its chapters collected in 40 tankobon volumes as of April 2024. The series has several spin-off manga, including My Hero Academia: Smash!!, My Hero Academia: Vigilantes and My Hero Academia: Team Missions.
It was also adapted into an anime series by Bones.
The first season aired in Japan from April to June 2016, followed by a second season from April to September 2017, then a third season from April to September 2018, a fourth season from October 2019 to April 2020, a fifth season from March to September 2021, a sixth season from October 2022 to March 2023, and a seventh season which premiered in May 2024.
It also received three animated films, entitled My Hero Academia: Two Heroes, My Hero Academia: Heroes Risingand My Hero Academia: World Heroes Missionand nine original video animations (OVAs).
