A recent massive leak has ensured that Production on the anime adaptation of the video game “Genshin Impact” will not be completed (or perhaps not started) in the near future. This would make sense considering that Ufotable Studios is currently working on the “Kimetsu no Yaiba” and “Touken Ranbu“, producing film versions that will be released soon.

On the other hand, the original video game was released in September 2020 for Android, iOS, PlayStation 4, and Windows, and was released for more platforms at later dates. In September 2022, the collaboration between HoYoverse and animation studios Ufotable was announcedwith the aim of developing a speculated anime adaptation based on the video game, accompanied by a concept trailer.
