In an exciting turn of events, it appears that the popular manga “Fighting Cock (Niwatori Fighter)”, will have an anime adaptation, according to a promotion for the screening panel of Adult Swimming for the San Diego Comic Con 2024 on July 26. Although it has not yet been officially confirmed, the original social media post by Cartoon Network/Adult Swimwhich was quickly removed, reinforces this theory and left fans on the edge of their seats.

“Fighting Cock”It is a Japanese web manga series written and illustrated by Shuu Sakuratani. It was serialized on the manga website Complex of Hero's Inc.. since December 2020. The story takes us to Japan where, three years ago, mutant demons began to appear. Although some of these demons are harmless or even beneficial to humans, others represent a big problem.
These mutant demons are created from humans who suffer from extreme emotional stress or unresolved trauma and have begun to evolve, becoming more intelligent and dangerous. In the midst of this chaos, a lone rooster named Keiji travels through several cities in Japan, defeating the mutant demons he encounters along the way. His ultimate goal is to find and kill the demon known as "The White Demon", who murdered his sister, to avenge her death.
The leak of this information and the subsequent deletion of the original publication generated great expectation among fans, who are eagerly awaiting official confirmation of the anime adaptation. San Diego Comic Con 2024 promises to be a memorable event for “Rooster Fighter” fans!
