TRIGUN remake is preparing its comeback

After the conclusion of the anime “TRIGUN STAMPEDE“, where the promise of a “Final Phase” on the horizon was shared, we now know the official title for the upcoming series. Announced today at the Anime Expo 2024 panel, the new title for the series was revealed as “TRIGUN STARGAZE“. To commemorate the occasion, the original creator Yasuhiro Nightow shared a special illustration.

Based on the manga Yasuhiro Nightow, Kenji Muto (episode director of “Land of the Shining“) drives “TRIGUN STAMPEDE” in the study Orange Studiowith Takehiko Oki in writing and Kouji Tajima (character artist for “GANTZ:0“) providing updated character designs.

“TRIGUN STAMPEDE”was first broadcast on January-2023. The original series aired on April to September 1998with a total of 26 episodes. It was produced by the studio hospice and directed by Satoshi Nishimura. The character design was done by Takahiro Yoshimatsu and the music was composed by Tsuneo Imahori. This anime stood out for its mix of science fiction, western and comedyin addition to its deep philosophical and emotional explorations.
