One Piece Film: Red Returns to Theaters Due to Its Popularity

After the episode was broadcast on television, it would be confirmed by official twitter account of the film, revealing some details of the process. This version is titled “One Piece Movie: Red ENCORE” and the ad claims this is a 4K special edition, so we expect it to look even better than it did originally. That complex, fluid, high-budget animation, that we only see in films of this style, deserves to be enjoyed with the best possible technology.
The other interesting part of the ad is the fact that it has "Bis" in the title (Which could be translated as "Repetition"), as it leaves one wondering whether the film will be exactly the same or whether they will add some new scenes to keep the experience fresher. One Piece Film: Red ENCORE will premiere in Japanese theaters soon October 20th and will be on the billboard for a whole month. Obviously, fans who don't live in Japan are already asking for this re-release to be released in the rest of the world, so we wouldn't be surprised if ENCORE hits theaters in Latin America in the near future.
What is One Piece Film: Red exactly?

One Piece Film Red is the 15th film in the One Piece series and was released last year. (First in Japan and then in the rest of the world) Although this series has released films since the year 2000, the recent popularity of anime-based cinematic experiences (Thanks to Demon Slayer: Infinity Train and Jujutsu Kaisen 0) has made Movie: The Red become a box office success. Collection $246.5 million worldwide and became the sixth highest-grossing anime-based film in history. So it's understandable that Toei would want to re-release it to make a little more money.
Movie: Red also owes its popularity to one of its protagonists: Uta, an idol who possesses mysterious powers thanks to her music. Half of the movie is a typical Shonen action story and the other half is a musical, with a collection of excellent and catchy songs performed by Japanese artist Ado. It's a bit of a weird movie and it's not for everyone, but it's packed with amazing animation, great music, and tons of references for the biggest One Piece fans out there. If you missed it in theaters in 2022, here's your chance to see it on the big screen.
