Top 10 Strongest Fairy Tail Characters – Hey guys!. In this post, I will be discussing a list of the top 10 strongest Fairy Tail characters. The Fairy Tail series has so many operating characters with hax magic powers, so let’s count them down from the weakest to the strongest.

10. God Serena

God Serena has 8 different dragon lacrimas implanted in him, giving him the ability to use 8 different types of magic to slay dragons.

He also easily defeated the Four Gods of Ishgar. Before becoming a member of the Spriggan 12, he was a member of the Ten Holy Wizards and the strongest Wizard on the entire continent.

9. Larcade Dragneel

Larcade was etherious and the third strongest member of the Spriggan 12. He possessed magic such as Pleasure, Famished Soul, and RIP. He was able to stop the blow of Kagura's sword that even cut the mountain in half. Zeref even said that he is a weapon capable of killing Acnologia.

8. Gildarts Clive

Gildarts is the S-Class Mage and the fifth guild master of the Fairy Tail Guild. He is considered the strongest member of the Fairy Tail Guild and his magic is Crush.

In the Alvarez Empire, we saw that the Gildarts easily destroy the Historia God Serena and have a good battle with August, who seems invincible.

7. Mavis Vermillion

August was the general of Spriggan 12  and also the son of Zeref and Mavis. He is also known as the Sorcerer King and is feared throughout the world. His Copy Magic allows him to instantly copy magic, dominate, and then nullify an opponent's magic.

He possesses ars magic, which is an ancient spell that has the power to destroy an entire country, at least the size of Fiore.

4. Igneel

Igneel is the Fire Dragon King and also Natsu Dragneel's adoptive father. He was the one who taught the dragon slayer Nastu his magic. He is the strongest dragon we have seen after Acnologia and even in a state of death he managed to take one of Acnologia's arms.

3. Zeref Dragneel

Zeref is considered the most evil wizard of all time. He is the father of Augustus and Emperor Spriggan. He lived over 400 years due to the ankhseram curse.

In the Alvarez Empire arc we saw that after consuming the Fairy Heart he literally became like a completely white fairy with wings. Due to Fairy Heart's infinite magical power, he is able to control time and space, which basically makes him a god.

2. Natsu Dragneel

Natsu is the wizard of the Fairy Tail guild and currently the strongest member of the guild. In the Alvarez Empire arc, we saw Natsu use Fire Dragon King Mode, which is Igneel's remaining power capable of killing Zeref.

At the end of the series, Natsu was able to defeat God Zeref and also defeat Acnologia, but with the power of all the dragon slayers.

1. Acnologia

Acnologia is the strongest character in the entire series. On Tenrou Island, we saw that he destroyed the entire Fairy Tail guild. Zeref even admitted that he was not strong enough to defeat Acnologia without a fairy heart. Acnologia after consuming the Space Between Time became even stronger than before.
