The director Norihiro Naganumaresponsible for the anime adaptation of 'The Apothecary's Diaries'(Kusuriya no Hitorigoto), recently shared in an interview with Crunchyroll some details about the highly anticipated second season of the series. During his appearance on The Anime Effect podcast Naganuma talked about what fans can expect from the new editionanticipating that the story will delve deeper into some of the mysteries raised during the first season.

According to Naganuma, the second season will continue to explore and develop many of the puzzles introduced previously. “There will be more developments, the story will get even bigger“commented the director, adding that”There are many mysteries from the first season that will become even more complicated before they are solved.“.
