It's been a while since “Oshi no Ko“, the manga written by Also known as Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyaribecame extremely popular not only because of a successful anime adaptation, but because of an episode in which Ruby Hoshino finally declared her love for Aqua Hoshino, her twin brother.

Before you scream to the heavens, know that they are both reincarnated people, with Aqua being a doctor in her previous life and Ruby her terminally ill patient. She ended up falling in love with him, but their relationship could not happen both because of the age difference and because of his death.
Thus, reincarnation was the perfect opportunity to fulfill her dream of becoming an idol and companion to the man who made her happy in her last days. However, there is an impediment between this: the two are brothers.
And so the “naval war” was born. Although the story of “Oshi no Ko” focuses specifically on Aqua Hoshino’s revenge against her father and the mastermind behind her mother’s murder, Ai Hoshino, Akasaka impressed readers with three romantic interests that earned their own fanbases:
- Kana Arima: Before becoming an idol, she was a recognized figure in the entertainment industry, who always stole the attention of viewers with her talent. However, she began to get fewer jobs and her fate was eventually sealed as she grew older.
- Akane Kurokawa: She appeared on the dating reality show LoveNow, where she was saved by Aqua when she got into a controversy after an incident on the set and became his girlfriend in the show's plot. Although it was a purely professional relationship on her part, she decided to continue it after the show ended, hoping that one day her fake love would become reality.
- Ruby Hoshino: She is the second daughter of the charismatic idol Ai Hoshino, as well as her brother Aqua. In addition, she holds memories of her past life, when she was known as Sarina Tendouji, a girl suffering from a terminal illness, cared for by Goro Amemiya.

And while fans continued to argue about which of the three was best for the protagonist, the latest chapter finally put an end to that discussion. Chapter 150 began with Aqua Hoshino having an internal monologue with Goro Amemiya, her past life. They both debate the current situation and whether it is worth it for Aqua to ruin her life by fulfilling her goal of murdering her father. Goro mentions that his only goal was the happiness of Sarina, who is now Ruby, and that now Aqua must make an important decision.

It is here that Goro tells him that he must decide whether to continue with his plan to murder his father and ruin his life forever, or continue with his teenage life and consummate his love with the girl he loves. Of course, Goro makes it clear that he will never allow Aqua to try anything with Sarina, now Ruby, and this is where the sea war finally ends.

Goro Amemiya, who evidently knows Aqua's inner feelings, reveals to her that he knows "he loves the child actress." According to Goro, Aqua is experiencing the romantic feelings appropriate for her age, and while Kana Arima may be arrogant, she has certainly shown how to work for her dreams. Although he has a sharp tongue, he is also quite sensitive. So Aqua has always been attracted to Kana, mainly because of her personality.

Although Aqua admits that she is right, she also knows that she has no right to be happy because of her past. But Goro tells him that he doesn't have to live with it, as he can now "stop acting like Goro." Meanwhile, Kana Arima also goes through her own dilemmas, admitting that she has always been in love with Aqua, but they certainly don't stand a chance with him. And that's where the chapter ends, as Aqua receives a message from Kana asking if she's free to go out next weekend.

With this, the possibility of an official couple for “Oshi no Ko” has apparently been established.and fans were quick to react:
- «I know better than anyone that this could mean the end for Kana Arima, but I've never smiled so much at a manga chapter in years.».
- «I feel very happy, it's a great day to be alive».
- «This is a big step for the relationship between the two, but we must be careful not to jump to conclusions too soon.».
- «I'm very happy to see this development, but I don't trust Aka Akasaka at all.».
- «We finally won!».
- «Common sense, basic reading comprehension. Anyone should have seen this coming. Brainless black people talking about how Oshi no Ko became an incest manga, overreacting to a few panels that can stay there».
- «It is confirmed again that only Kana Arima can save this manga from doom».
- «I honestly really like this chapter. Very wholesome and made me really happy for Aqua, to be honest. After 149, which was the most horrible chapter I've read this year, I really didn't know where Aka would go. I'm glad you picked up on that angle.».
