Almost a year after the conclusion of its first season, the popular anime Oshi no Ko is returning with its second season on July 3, 2024. Diving into the Tokyo Blade arc, which follows Aqua's involvement in a stage adaptation of a popular manga with a dark secret, the first episode sets the tone for what's to come in the season.

Oshi no Ko is a manga series written by Kaguya Sama: Love is War creator Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari, author of Kuzu no Honkai. It was serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Youth Jump since April 2020, with its chapters collected in fourteen tankobon volumes as of April 2024.

By November 2023, Oshi no Ko had more than 15 million copies in circulation.
