America's #1 Hero My Hero Academia, Star and Stripe, also known as Cathleen Bate, was a powerful woman who did everything in her power to help Japan in the fight against Tomura Shigaraki and All For One. Even though she was not authorized to help Japan in the battle, she still chose to gather her comrades and set out to fight the villains.
Her confidence and bravery were what made her stand out, and she believed that she could defeat the villain because she owed it to her mentor; All Might. Even though she fought bravely and sacrificed herself, she was not completely successful in stopping Tomura Shigaraki and All For One.

With America being a major influence in the world of heroes, it's no surprise that several American heroes have entered the narrative.
Star & Stripe, the American hero
Strength, power and resilience
Cathleen Bate was one of those people who had the privilege of being saved by All Might. When she was young, she and her family faced a dangerous situation, but when All Might, who was in America at the time, came to her rescue, she could never forget him. Inspired by the hero who saved her and her family, Cathleen grew up wanting to become a superhero, a few years later, and became the number 1 hero in America, and also styled her hair and costume in a way that looked similar to All Might as a tribute to her hero.
As a powerful hero, Cathleen has always wanted to save others. This is seen when she takes it upon herself to help Japan fight against All For One, regardless of the repercussions. She will also sacrifice herself if the occasion calls for it, and is not afraid to die even if it means protecting the innocent. When she was younger and training to become a hero, she believed that she was not strong enough to become like All Might, but was motivated by her comrades that she was strong enough no matter what.
The Rise and Fall of the New Order
Cathleen's quirk was known as New Order. This quirk gave her the ability to establish a rule by touching a subject and saying its name before proclaiming a rule that resulted in its properties being altered. She was even able to alter things like the air. The downside to this quirk was that she could only enforce two rules at a time and the target needed to possess a subconscious connection to the name Cathleen proclaims. This quirk can also be nullified if the subject has alternate identities. The quirk is also incapable of making the user stronger or beyond their natural limit. This quirk requires the user to think fast and act quickly in order for it to be useful.

While some may be unhappy with a character's fate, it's hard to stay mad at an episode with so many satisfying twists and turns.
None of your strategies will work and that's why I'm the best.
Cathleen has been able to summon powerful moves using her quirk. One of them is the First Bump to Earth attack, where she is able to solidify the air into a version of her body of enormous size. This version of her is able to copy her real moves, such as using the lasers of the fighters to shape a sword to use on her aerial giant self. She is also able to use her aerial giant to catch missiles, change their trajectory, and combine a powerful punch, causing a powerful explosion on the opponent.
Cathleen was not alone in her battles, as she also had her comrades in the X-66 fighters supporting her in the air. Cathleen, however, did not survive the battle with Tomura, as she ended up sacrificing herself, so that she could fulfill his final request with her New Order quirk, causing severe damage to both Tomura and All For One, draining him of his stolen quirks and preventing him from using his quirk. Her sacrifice was not in vain, as the pilots of the X-66 fighter were able to recover recordings of the fight between the two and gather more information on Tomura, such as biosignatures, and deliver them to All Might as valuable information in the war against All For One.

My Hero Academia (2016)
In My Hero Academia, some humans have superpowers called quirks. Izuku Midoriya, nicknamed Deku, is not one of them. Deku has always idolized heroes like the number one hero, All Might, and has always wanted to be a hero since he was a child. However, his lack of a quirk has always held him back, but a chance encounter with All Might after discovering a classmate in danger sets Deku on the path to becoming a true hero. My Hero Academia revolves around Deku and a class of heroes in training at U.A. This school transforms young quirk users into future heroes through fake rescue missions, combat training, and other hero-tempering tasks. With young Deku inheriting the “One-For-All” quirk, he will learn what it means to be a true hero as he faces off against dastardly supervillains.
