Re:ZERO Prepares for Return with Thrilling Trailer

On the official website for the anime adaptation of the light novels “Re:ZERO -Starting life in another world- (Re:Zero Kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu)”, a new promotional video for the third season of the project was revealed. The video confirms this The premiere is still scheduled for the summer-2024 season (October-December) with an initial 90-minute episode. The video announces that there will be a preview in theaters in Japan on August 30, and also shows a snippet of the musical themes, which include:

Synopsis of Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu

Leaving the shop, Subaru Natsuki finds himself in a bustling city inhabited by humans and demi-humans. The city, which uses dragons and carriages as its means of transportation, is clearly not the modern Japan he knows. However, as someone who spends his days engrossed in comics and games, Subaru assumes that he is the protagonist of this new fantasy world, wielding supreme magical powers. Unfortunately for him, this is not the case and things quickly go awry when he encounters a group of bandits. Fortunately, a silver-haired beauty named Satella comes to his rescue as he searches for his stolen badge.

In return for his kindness, Subaru offers to help him with his search, which eventually leads them to a loot shop. Assuming that the badge has been exchanged for money, Subaru enters the shop in hopes of trading the stolen item with the owner. However, to his surprise, what awaits them is not the badge, but a brutal killer who leads them both to their deaths. But instead of waking up in the afterlife, Subaru is surprised to find himself alone in the middle of the day, as if he had never left the city. Thus, his life in another world mysteriously begins for the second time.
