Saturday night shows us the chaos behind the creation of the legendary show.

He first advance of Saturday nighta biopic of the legendary show, is here, and it gives us our first glimpses of the younger versions of the SNL cast, Chevy Chase (Cory Michael Smith), John Belushi (Matt Wood), Dan Aykroyd (Dylan O'Brien), Gilda Radner (Ella Hunt), Garrett Morris (Lamorne Morris) and, of course, the mastermind behind it all, Lorne Michaels (Gabriel LaBelle).
It was also previously confirmed that Nick Braun will play Jim Henson, Tommy Dewey will play Michael O'Donoghue, and Nicholas Podany will play Billy Crystal.
The film is directed by Jason Reitman, with a screenplay written by Reitman and Gil Kenan.

SNL 1975 is the true story of what happened behind the scenes that night, chronicling the events leading up to the first broadcast. It captures the chaos and magic of a revolution that almost didn’t happen, counting down the minutes before the legendary words were first spoken: Live from New York, it’s Saturday Night!




Saturday night will premiere exactly 49 years after the first broadcast of the first SNL show, that is, the next October 11th.
