The iconic anime “Shingeki no Kyojin“is preparing for its theatrical release with the film”Shingeki no Kyojin: The Final Season – The Last Attack“, which will hit theaters on November 8th. This film is a re-edited and improved version of the final two chapters which were broadcast on television in March and November 2023.
“Shingeki no Kyojin: The Final Season – The Last Attack” will offer fans a unique cinematic experience by restructuring the television episodes into a 145-minute film with 5.1-channel surround sound, providing total immersion in the final battle of the series and the conclusion of the story of Eren and his companions. Linked Horizon returns to perform the title track “Nisennen Moshiku wa Nimannen Go no Kimi e“, continuing the emotional music that accompanied the anime in its last season.
Director Yuichiro Hayashi expressed his excitement for this theatrical release, highlighting that this was how this final part should debutinstead of going directly to the television:
- «The movie 'Shingeki no Kyojin' – The Final Season – The Last Attack' is finally here! I'm so happy to finally be able to make this announcement. Don't say that since it's the final part, you can stream it whenever you want… From the beginning I thought of this final part as a work that should be seen in the cinema, and now that we have the opportunity to show it in the best possible environment, I feel that I have achieved a great personal goal. We are working on some additional updates to the animation. Please experience ‘Rumble’ in the theater!”».

The original manga “Shingeki no Kyojin”, created by Hajime Isayama, was published from 2009 to 2021 in Kodansha's Bessatsu Shonen magazine, becoming a global phenomenon with more than 140 million copies sold worldwide. The anime series, which began in 2013, was a smash hit, and its final season kept fans on the edge of their seats, culminating in the highly anticipated “The Final Season – The Last Attack.”
