A press release reported that the manga written by Ayano Takeda and illustrated by Musshu“Flower and Asura (Hana wa Saku, Shura no Gotoku)”, will have an anime adaptation produced by Studio Linkage which will premiere in sometime in 2025 in Japan. The statement also included the production team of this project.

For its part, Ayano Takeda and Musshu They started publishing the manga through the magazine Ultra jump from the publisher Shueisha in June 2021, where it is still in serialization. Takeda is also the author of other franchises such as “Hibike! euphonium” and “Liz to Aoi Tori“, which stood out a lot thanks to the anime adaptations of Kyoto Animation.

Synopsis of Flower and Asura

Kana, who lives on the small island of Tonakijima, population 600, loves reading to the children on the island. Mizuki, the president of the school’s broadcasting club, recognizes Kana’s ability to connect with people through reading and invites her to join the club. “Tell me what you really want and I will make it happen.”
