Sword of the Demon Hunter Sets Up Its Premiere With an Extended Episode

On the official website of the anime adaptation of the novels written by Motoo NakanishiDemon Hunter's Sword (Kijin Gentoushou)”, a new promotional image for the project was revealed. The press release listed that The premiere is scheduled for June 27th with a one-hour special.

Two new voice cast members were also announced, including:

Demon Hunter's Sword Synopsis

In the Edo period, there was a shrine maiden named “Itsukihime” in the mountainous village of Kadono. Jinta, a young man who acts as the shrine maiden’s guardian despite being an outsider, encounters a mysterious demon who speaks of a distant future in the forest where he has gone to defeat it. Spanning from the Edo to the Heisei era, this massive Japanese fantasy series follows a time-traveling demon man as he continually questions the meaning of wielding a sword.
