During a special event it was announced that the anime adaptation of the light novels written by Kurokata and illustrated by Barrel“The Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic (Chiyu Mahou no Machigatta Tsukaikata)”, will have a second season. The statement did not reveal a scheduled release date or production details.

The novels began to be published in 2014 in web format on the website The Shousetsuka and the Narou. From 2016 to 2020, the physical formats of the soap operas were published by the label.
