While we wait for more information about the My Dressed Up Sweetheart The anime sequel, a live-action adaptation of Shinichi Fukuda's hit manga, is on the horizon. The series is set to premiere as part of MBS's Dramaism programming block on October 8, with airings on TBS to follow. Ahead of that, two new trailers have been made available online to give a sneak peek at the series and its theme songs.

The first is the opening musical version of the trailer, which includes the song “Princess Hero” by Cho Tokimeki Sendenbu.

The final version of the song features PEDRO's song “Lovely Baby”.

Koji Shintoku (live action) Peach Girl) directs, with Satoko Okazaki (Tiger and rabbit episodes) handling the scripts for the Kyodo Television production. Iko Nagase and Kota Nomura star in the respective roles of Marin Kitagawa and Wanaka Gojo.

Wakana Gojo is a high school boy who wants to become a kashirashi, a master craftsman who makes traditional Japanese Hina dolls. Although he is enthusiastic about the craft, he is clueless about the latest trends and has trouble fitting in with his class. The popular kids, especially one girl, Marin Kitagawa, seem to live in a completely different world. Everything changes one day when she shares an unexpected secret with him, and their completely different worlds collide.
