Inoxtag, whose real name is Inès Benazzouz, has shared on several occasions the great influence that “One Piece” has had on her life. In fact, his epic expedition to Everest is documented in his film titled “Kaizen,” which refers to the Japanese concept of continuous improvement. The trailer for the film, released on August 31, makes multiple references to Luffy and his hat, highlighting the profound impact the character and series had on the young creator.

Fans were quick to react to her achievement on social media. On Twitter, several users joked that "it took him less time to climb Everest than it took Luffy to reach the top," while others expressed their hope that One Piece creator Eiichiro Oda would include him in the Straw Hat crew. Some have crowned him the “King of the Hills” or “GOAT” (Greatest of All Time), praising both his documentary and his impressive achievement.

Inoxtag openly confirmed that “One Piece” was one of his biggest inspirations, and in an interview he mentioned that if Oda saw his documentary, he would like to thank him for making him believe that dreams can come true. With more than 8 million subscribers on YouTube, the young creator has shown himself to be one of the most charismatic and adventurous personalities on the platform.

The documentary “Kaizen” opened in cinemas across France and French-speaking territories on September 13, supported by French cinema group MK2. Most surprisingly, after its theatrical release, Inoxtag decided to share the film for free on YouTube the following day, rejecting offers from payment platforms. According to MK2, this was the first time that a film was released for free on the video platform one day after its theatrical release, a gesture that Inoxtag made to share its adventure with its community.

The documentary has been a success, with more than 350,000 tickets sold in a single day, becoming a landmark in alternative programming in France. This achievement not only reinforces the enormous influence of “One Piece” in the lives of its fans, but also Inoxtag’s ability to inspire millions with its incredible journey.
