The long-awaited 2.1 update for the sci-fi shooter RPG “Snowbreak: Containment Zone” has suffered a delay in its release for Android devices due to issues during Google’s app review process. As reported by the game’s official Discord server, This setback arose because Google considered the promotional image for the Operation Midnight event to be inappropriate.
The promotional image shows the new operation Vidya Agave with a tiny outfit that visibly highlights her bust. This is not the first incident of its kind for “Snowbreak: Containment Zone“, as previously the promotional video for the same update also faced similar issues on YouTube, although it has finally been made available on the platform.

Despite the initial obstacles, Update 2.1 is now available on the Google Play Store with no apparent changes to its promotional images and videos. To compensate Android users for the delay, the developers have provided compensation in the form of in-game currency.
In addition to challenges with distribution platforms, “Snowbreak: Containment Zone” recently updated its age rating to M/PEGI 16. This change coincides with a trend in the game of introducing more attractive and revealing character costumes, as well as the regular addition of new voice lines and intimate interactions between characters.
The game's producer for the Japanese region stated in an interview that the development team will continue to focus on fanservice, as they identified this feature as one of the main demands of players. This strategy resulted in an increase of almost double the average number of players, demonstrating a remarkable growth in the game's popularity. However, this approach has also generated resistance from distribution platforms.who seem to have reservations about the more explicit and suggestive content that the game incorporates.
