A fragment from the Japanese program “Why did you come to Japan?” (YOUは何しに日本へ?) has become a trending topic on social media again, several years after its original broadcast. In the video, the interviewers approach a girl dressed as the virtual idol Hatsune Miku at Narita Airport. What caught everyone's attention was that, in addition to the characteristic cosplay, the young woman managed to imitate the virtual diva's tone of voice with surprising precision.

The girl, who revealed that she is originally from Russia, mentioned that the reason for her visit to Japan was to watch a Hatsune Miku concert. During the interview, reporters asked her to sing one of the virtual idol's popular songs and, to everyone's surprise, her voice was very similar to Miku's, reproducing her high-pitched tones with great accuracy.

This video is not new. It originally aired in October 2017 and at the time, it also caused a stir among Hatsune Miku fans. The girl was identified as Saya Scarlet, a popular cosplayer from St. Petersburg, Russia, who was 18 at the time. Saya is a renowned fan of Hatsune Miku and has amassed a significant fanbase on social media platforms such as YouTube and Instagram, where she shares her passion for the virtual idol through covers, music videos, and photographs of her detailed cosplays.

According to the original 2017 article, Saya Scarlet not only participated in the program during her visit to Japan, but also participated in the official event “Hatsune Miku Magical Mirai 2017”, where she shared her experience through videos and photos on her social media. During her stay in Tokyo, Saya enjoyed several tourist attractions, and her followers were able to see her posing in front of iconic places like the Tokyo Skytree.

With the resurfacing of the video, the Hatsune Miku fandom is once again paying tribute to one of its most dedicated cosplayers.who with her charisma and passion for virtual diva music left a lasting mark on the community.
